Many citizens and businesses are concerned about when the second phase of consumer coupons will be issued. We are actively promoting the relevant preparatory work, and it is expected that the second phase of consumer coupons with a total amount of 5,000 yuan will be distributed in phases during the summer vacation. In order to give everyone more choices, the number of SVF operators participating in the issuance of consumer coupons will increase to six. The new additions include BOCHK's BoC Pay and HSBC's PayMe, along with the original four including Alipay Hong Kong, Octopus, Tap & Go and WeChat Pay HK, giving citizens more choices. We are discussing the specific arrangements with the operators, and we aim to start accepting registrations in the middle of this year. Citizens can then choose whether to switch to electronic payment tools to receive the second-stage consumption coupons.

HSBC PayMe
